My Math Forum Lagrangian Help

 February 29th, 2012, 08:06 PM #1 Newbie   Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 2 Thanks: 0 Lagrangian Help My wife is being stubborn and is neglecting to ask for help, so I'm here with sparse information in order to help. For her non-linear optimization class... She says she is trying to rewrite the lagrangian as f(x) *lambda*, *something that looks like the letter C in greek* If anyone can help or point me in the right direction as to 1) what she is trying to do, 2) where she could find out how to rewrite it, 3) help in general. P.s. sorry I can't code or do the cool letters/symbols. Thanks!
