My Math Forum compute eigenvalue

 February 12th, 2012, 01:17 PM #1 Newbie   Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 5 Thanks: 0 compute eigenvalue hi, Can someone please help me find the eigenvalues for this: $\ dy/dx=y(y-1)(y-2)\$ I think I got the equilibrium steady states right: y =0, y=1, y=2 Not sure how to use those in order to find the eigenvalues. I know that the formula to find the eigenvalue is $\ Av=\lambda v\$ Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thks
