find resultant and angle

hey, alright so i'm suppose to add these vectors together and find the resultant and angle of the resultant without drawing a scale diagram, so using trig. i keep getting the wrong answer. the answer is suppose to be 167m ( not sure of the angle ) and this is what im getting
v1 = 712m at N42degW
v2 = 536m at S84degE
v3 = 629m at S14degW

v1
y= +529.12
x= +476.42

v2
y= -56.03
x= +533.06

v3
y= -610.32
x= -152.17 so after doing all the calculations i get a resultant of 868m at south 81 degrees west.

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Re: find resultant and angle

ugh, i just did the question over again for the tenth time lol and made a mistake on a negative sign for the first vector, problem solved!
