need help asap :X so confused

If tan (theta)= 2 and the terminal ray for theta is in the first quadrant, find the values of the other five trigonometric functions at the angle theta.

If tan (theta) = -1/2 and the terminal ray for theta is in the fourth quadrant, find the values of the other five trigonometric functions at the angle theta.

As theta increases from 0 to pi/2, does cos (theta) increase of decrease?

As theta increases from -5pi/2 to -2pi, does cos theta increase or decrease?

Draw the right triangle in Quadrant I, using the fact that 2 = 2/1 = (opposite)/(adjacent). (Use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the length of the hypotenuse.) Then copy the ratios from the triangle.

Follow the same process as above.

What did you see when you looked at the graph of the cosine wave?

I've had occasion to remind people that they are adults, or perhaps close to being adults, and responsible for their own education, as they are for every other aspect of their lives. I had a 2nd year physics prof who spoke so poorly, his mouth partly covered by his hand, walking back and forth, that the only time we knew he was finished was when he left the room. That simply meant much more time in the library. But self-teaching pays off, and in fact, in the long run you are your own teacher. Im saying this not to be derogatory, but to urge you to get up and do it yourself for your own benefit. The teacher is only a guide in the right direction at the very best. People can do a thousand problems for you, but until you REALLY struggle, and we all get frustrated with the effort, you will not get to the next level ...but if you do, you will. Don't waste your time and effort blaming the prof. He can't hear you. Listen to yourself instead. And yes, I aced that physics exam, but only after one HELL of a lot of effort.

A young black woman was on Oprah a while back. She came from an area of drugs and violence and extreme poverty. Just imagine what the classroom was like. She abhorred and ignored everything around her, and marched to her own drum, and studied. She is now in Harvard on full scholarship. Go for it.

Unfortunately you can't get full attention here, just a few scraps now and then. You need to go often to a library, talk to companions taking the same course, work together, and if possible get a good private tutor.

Does this website help at all? (Scroll to the top of the page if you are unsure what "quadrant" means.)
Are you aware that an angle of pi/2 is a right angle?
