I need help figuring this out 51% of a Company is owned by management, they have no financial investment. = $0 49% is owned by the Limited Members =$210,000 Someone just invested $10,000 for a 2.333 percent interest of the 49% thus diluting the 49% buy 2.333% or 46.667%. I have $20,000 invested and my friend has $15,000. What is our share of the 46.667% now that we are diluted? Thanks

If you want to find share of 49% then 10,000 : 7/3(i.e. 2.3333) :: 20,000 : x 10,000*x = 20,000*7/3 x=14/3 =4.66666(your share) similarly your frind share= 3.5 If you want to find share in remaining 46.667% first find 49% (10,000/x)*100=7/3 x = 10,00,000*3/7=30,00,000/7=428571.429 now 46.667% share is 418571.429 your share 20000/418571.429*100=4.778% your frind share 15000/418571.429 = 3.5836%
