(the whole equation from 3 to |x+5|) a) What is the domain of f ? b) What is the range of f if the domain of f is (-7, -3)? c) If the domain of f is {-7, -3}. Give an example of a function g whose domain is also {-7, -3} and equals the function f.

Domain: [-8, -2]. b) At domain (-7, -3), the maximum value of f(x) is at when x = -5, so f(-5) = ?(3). If there was a domain of [-7, -3] for f(x), then the minimum value of f(x) at this domain is at when x = -7 or -3, so f(-7) = f(-3) = 1. But, the given domain in the problem is (-7, -3). ? Range: (1, ?(3)].
