Find the height of a trapezoid with basis 6 ft and 10 ft and

Find the height of a trapezoid with bases 6 ft and 10 ft and area 32 sq ft.

Explain to me how, please.

Let us assume that we should know the obvious equation , where , , and represent the area of a trapezoid, first base, second base and height, respectively. We can algebraically rearrange for variable in the equation, then plug in the values given in the problem, hence done.
