Investment ?

Hi i have a quick question. how would i set up this problem.

"I am considering the following investment opportunity."
A) a mutual fund that triples in value every 15 years.

How would i set up this problem? I would appreciate the help, Thanks!

Amount = (Principal) * 3^(t/15) where t is time in years.
