Change Subject of Formula

Hey guys. The exercise requires me to change the subject of the formula to X. Here is my solving:



Problem is my book says the awnser should be : x= d/mn-b

At the point where you multiply both sides of the equation by x, you multiply wrong. You have $\displaystyle \frac{d}{x}= mn- b$. Multiplying both sides by x gives $\displaystyle d= (mn- b)x$, NOT what you have.
