Question 5. The length of a rectangular lawn is 15m more than four times its width. (a) If x m is the width of the lawn, express the length of the lawn in terms of x. (b) If the perimeter of the lawn is 265m, find the length and the width of the lawn. For (a), I did: 4w + 15 = x but than I got stuck, if you PLEASE can help will be great and please don't judge me if I'm stupid :C, I know I'm not the smartest and it's a long time that I don't do this type of things. Thank YOU! Please show the working out because I'm here for learning and not just getting the question !! Last edited by skipjack; May 17th, 2015 at 05:19 AM.

x is the width ... The Length is 15 more than 4 times the width $L=4x+15$ $P=2(L+W)$ $2(4x+15+x)=265$ Can you finish?
