 May 17th, 2015, 02:47 AM #1 Newbie   Joined: May 2015 From: Australia Posts: 10 Thanks: 0 Yr 10 Word Problems!! Question 5. The length of a rectangular lawn is 15m more than four times its width. (a) If x m is the width of the lawn, express the length of the lawn in terms of x. (b) If the perimeter of the lawn is 265m, find the length and the width of the lawn. For (a), I did: 4w + 15 = x but than I got stuck, if you PLEASE can help will be great and please don't judge me if I'm stupid :C, I know I'm not the smartest and it's a long time that I don't do this type of things. You were told that "x is the width of the lawn". What is "w" supposed to mean?
