The truth according to Sir/Dame MMBt (aka lookagain at freemathhelp.com):

Using the truncated value of 2.22:

2.22*100 = 222 = 22,200%, not 222%.
Summation: Name the title and author of the arithmetic book which gave you this rule.
If you can't, I suggest you give your students their money back for teaching them an imaginary rule from an imaginary book.

Unbelievable...
Mr/Mrs/Miss MMBTakaLA "scolded" (yes, that's the word he/she used!)
both MarkFL and Archie in another thread.
He/she then advised us all that he/she tutored at universitieS (plural).
That I guess is understandable: no university would stand him/her
for more than (to be generous) a week.

So I see 2 possibilities:
he/she is convinced of being a direct descendant of the Biblical
Mathematician (the one who assured us mortals that pi = 3)
and thus can do no wrong...
OR
he/she is joking...
Thanks from Monox D. I-Fly

Mental retard jonah, aside from continuing to be dead wrong with your nonsense,
quit making posts that
have nothing that has nothing to do with this problem.

I've had enough of you Denis. You continue to be anything

but someone on the "Math Team." You're a worthless troll, just

like jonah is.

Now, just as for jonah, stop hijacking threads for your own agenda.

WARNING: Beer soaked rambling/opinion/observation/reckoning ahead. Read at your own risk. Would be readers can take it seriously or take it with a grain of salt. In no event shall the wandering quixotic math knight-errant Sir jonah in his inebriated state (usually in his dead tired but mentally revived inebriated state) be liable to anyone for special, collateral, incidental, or consequential damages in connection with or arising out of the use of his "enhanced" beer (and tequila/absinthe) powered views.

There goes my sweet, sweet baby bear with her nonsense and degrading name calling trip again. I should report your abusive name calling but you know I love you too much baby bear!
Quit deflecting. We would know the title and author of the arithmetic book which gave you "the arithmetic rule".
Put your money where your mouth is.
Or did you got caught with your foot in your mouth (in a moment of anger) and you're just too proud to back off. If that's the case, then a simple acknowledgement that you're wrong and I promise that I won't bother you again.

There you go again with your orders. Again, I should report you for ordering us mere mortals around but like I said, Baby I love you!
Baby I need you
You're the only one I care enough to hurt about
Maybe I'm-a crazy
But I just can't live without...

Your lovin' and affection
Givin' me direction
Like a guiding light to help me through my darkest hour
Lately I'm a-prayin'
That you'll always be a-stayin' beside me

Used to be my life was just emotions passing by
Feeling all the while and never really knowing why...

Lately I'm a-prayin'
That you'll always be a-stayin' beside me.

Used to be my life was just emotions passing by
Then you came along and made me laugh
And made me cry...
You taught me why...

Baby, I'm-a want you
Baby, I'm-a need you

Oh, it took so long to find you, baby
Baby, I'm-a want you
Baby, I'm-a need you

Math Focus: Elementary mathematics and beyond
I understand that it can be difficult to remain on topic but please try to do so.

Math Message Board tutor, during your time here you have threatened other members
with violence and made several insulting and inflammatory comments. Though you may see
yourself as justified in doing so, I do not. Punitive action is long overdue. I am banning you for
one month (until 1 pm June 18th, 2015).
Thanks from Denis

I suggest clicking on the "report post" icon of an offensive post (or sending a PM (not a Visitor Message) to a moderator, especially if multiple posts are involved) instead of quoting it or replying to it.
