I've studied the logarithmic properties but can't seem to decide on where to get started. Carl, the foreman at Atlantic Cycles, is concerned about noise levels in the factory. The Environmental Protection Agency has identified a maximum of 70 decibels to protect against hearing loss. The decibel is a logarithmic unit of measurement for loudness (intensity), and is defined as L=10log10(P/Po) where P is the sound pressure, and P0 is a reference level. What is the value of P/Po if L = 90?
