Operation Order Problem

Hi everybody!

So I was going through this problem many times and my final answer was 5, but I don't know why the book insist that the right answer is 3!

Here goes the problem:



It'll be good if you may have a detailed solution

Numerator becomes

13+9-12+1+10-6=15

Denominator becomes

9: (16-9-8 )+12 = 3

15/3 = 5
