I'm having trouble isolating 'x' in this equation: y=(100x)/(x+16635) Can anyone help me?

Nevermind, think I figured it out, after all. y=(x*100)÷(x+16635) (x*y)+(16635*y)=x*100 y+(16635*y÷x)=100 16635*y÷x=100y 16635*y=(100y)*x (16635*y)÷(100y)=x

OK, but you may have done just a little more than necessary. Not so important here, but good habits pay off in the long run. y=(x*100)÷(x+16635) (x*y)+(16635*y)=x*100 100xyx = 16635y (100y)x = 16635y x = 16635y/(100y)
