I just finished a chapter on Ratios, proportions, and Variations. I got over 80% of the final test right(my worst test score to date). The biggest issue was with word problems, they are my biggest sticking point. The next chapter deals exclusively with word problems...... Now according to the author I needn't stress too much about the current chapter, I can move on even if I didn't do to well. My question....... Is it not that big a deal I just move ahead to the next chapter? Am I really shooting myself in the foot here? I have plans on getting another algebra book later on to see what a different authors view is, thinking it would be good to focus on it then. Good plan? Edit: This is the last chapter. Next book will be on Geometry and Trigonometry. Last edited by Opposite; October 24th, 2014 at 11:35 AM.
