For any multiple choice question, a "brief solution" would presumably be the answer, especially for questions that are intended to be quite easy. However, I'll provide a bit of help on each.

Q1.  Evaluate -|2x-3| for various integer values of x. This should help you see which choice is right.

Q2.  As you are told one factor, you can divide by that to find another. What do you get?

Q3.  There are several laws of logarithms. Consider how they can help.

Q4.  This is much easier than it appears at first glance.

Q5.  Consider the formal meaning of a function in mathematics.

Re: Math Aptitude Questions

Q1.  Can you post your work so far on this question so that I can understand why you are stuck?

Q5.  R2 (or R3) could be a function, but the question means a function on the set {1, 2, 3, 4},
not on some proper subset of {1, 2, 3, 4}.
