My Math Forum Equation weighting

 November 20th, 2013, 12:44 AM #1 Newbie   Joined: Nov 2013 Posts: 3 Thanks: 0 Equation weighting Morning all, I have a set of data that ranges from 3 to 65. Basically, I need an equation that applied a weighting of between 1.5 to 1 for the numbers in the data range. So at the data range of 3, a number 1.5 is applied, at data range 65, 1 is applied, and at half way 34, 1.25 is applied. etc but an equation that can calculate the number between 1.5 and 1 for any number in the data range. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
