Fractions with expressions

We have some discussions about the expression in the picture.

What is the correct answer?
Option d) or option e)?

Please, justify your answer.

Option d is correct.
24 ÷ 8[1 - (-2-4) ÷ 2] = 3[1 - (-6) ÷ 2] = 3[1 + 3] = 12
