Sine & Cosine Graphs- someone help me with this please

Here's the deal. I'm taking an integrated math class that I probably shouldn't, because it recommends taking Algebra 2 beforehand. I haven't taken Algebra 2. I was trying to avoid it, because, well I don't do algebra and this class isn't only about this stuff. This is just a section in it. But I do NOT get it. If anyone could help with these, or figure out what to do to understand it, it would be super appreciated. I have no clue what to do.

Please post a clearer version of the first image.

Also, find out the meanings of any terms (such as "graph", "sin" and "range") that you don't understand fully, then let us know what you think the answers are.
