I have a problem and I hope I can get some help here. For a game, I am trying to work out a formula to calculate how many days it would take for one player to outrank another, based on a percentage or amount of points per day. The growth rate differs per day and per player of course. Growth rates and points growth are already calculated by my excel sheet. So player 1 has 200.000 points and grows every day with 3000 points. Player 2 has 180.000 points and grows every day with 4000 points. Now I can calculate how many days it would take before player 2 has more points then player 1. But is there a way to calculate this with a mathematical formula? I hope you can shed some light on this Greetings : Jeroen

I made my excel sheet so that values between parentheses are the days until next rank. Like this: 0 100 (54) 5 (15) (3) (1) 2 (27) 10 (1) Now all I have to do is make excel discard or "o" the values not between parentheses. But that is more a matter for an Excel based forum :P I thank you gracefully for your help Greetings : Jeroen
