Lightbulb Solve R

Hi.

I have the following problem and need to solve r.

26,51= ((10,360232)/((1+r)^4)))+((11,29265288)/((1+r)^5)))+((12,3089916392)/((1+r)^6)))

The given equation isn't a differential equation. If r has to be positive, it's approximately 0.0503674.

What does your monster do : present value of 3 amounts or something?

So your problem can be looked at as a bond with
with 3 unequal coupons (as shown above) which is sold
for $26.51: what interest rate does that represent?
