But try plug in a couple of numbers to test. What do you get when you put x = -10? What about x = -5/2? Thanks from greg1313 and topsquark

The function $f(x) = \sqrt[4]{x}$ is undefined on the real numbers if $x<0$

So simply find

$\{x:2x+5 \geq 0\}$
