I'm learning logarithms and i have a problem with this: 500 X e 2.5 I know that the solution is 41.04 But how to do that?

You have to know that $\displaystyle e \approx 2.71828$. Then plug $\displaystyle 500 ~ e^{2.5}$ into the calculator. If you are using a scientific calculator you can plug in 500 (times) exp (2.5) Dan Addendum: Maschke for psychic of the year for figuring out the formula the OP meant by that.
