Help with Range for Exponential Equation
I need help with how to phrase the answer for the range for the exponential equation. I know how to find the range. My teachers notes phrase it in the form of (for example) (1,sign for infinity). But my multiple choice answers are phrased in a different way. Using the above example, would the range be f(x)greater than or equal to 5 OR x greater than or equal to 5.

Sorry for spelling out greater than or equal to and infinity. If mathmatical signs are available on the site I can't see them.

I have to turn this in tomorrow so I would appreciate help.

$(1,\infty)$ translates to $f(x) > 1$

$[1,\infty)$ translates to $f(x) \ge 1$

... no idea where "5" came from.

Thanks so much. That is exactly what I needed.
