need the function

http://i47.tinypic.com/1gowtz.png
Well, I need a function which will give me resultat of coordinates.
when alfa become zero or 180 degrees the coordinate Y not change;
when alfa become 90 or 270 degrees the coordinate X not change;
when alfa become 45 or 135 or... degrees the coordinates X and Y changing same.
I thought about sin,cos but not got right solution.
and my idea: y = tg(x)*k but it's not right when X become 90 degrees or 270 degrees ( k = const ).

Re: need the function

Not needed anymore, I found
it's
y=R*sin(alfa)
x=R*cos(alfa)
