The dimensions of a rectangular box are in the ratio 2:3:4 and the difference between the cost of covering it with sheet of paper at the rate of Rs.4/ and Rs. 4.50 per square meter is Rs 416. The dimensions of the box are: 1)6,9,12 2)8,12,16 3)10,15,20 4)12,18,24 5)none Please show steps...I don't know how to start...

Let 2x be the smallest dimension of the box, then 3x and 4x are the other larger dimensions. The surface area S of the box is then: We are told then that: Can you proceed from here?
