2000 1999 - 2001 1998 = 2000 1999 - (2000 1998 + 199 = 2000 1999 - 2000 1998 - 1998 = 2000(1999 - 199 - 1998 = 2.

For any value of n (including 199, (n + 2)(n + 1) - (n + 3)n = 2.
