Inscribed Angle algebra question

How would I solve for x attached circle? We cannot assume XW is a diameter because it was not given in this problem. Can x be found with the given info?

 April 18th, 2012, 09:55 AM #3 Newbie   Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 17 Thanks: 0 Re: Inscribed Angle algebra question 8x+4 is the inscribed angle. I figured it out by multiply 2(8x+4). Then I added all three known arc lengths and set them equal to 360 and solved for x = 11.
