 April 16th, 2012, 09:24 PM #1 Newbie   Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 7 Thanks: 0 confused. please help! The growth in population of a certain rodent at a dump site fits the exponential function A(t)=999e^(0.033)(t), where t is the number of years since 1977. Estimate the population in the year 2000.

We are being asked to estimate the population in 2000. If t represents the number of years since 1977, then in 2000 t = 2000 - 1977 = 23. Now use your calculator to find the value of A(23). Round to the nearest integer.
