Does the period come out to be 12pi? I'm not sure how to graph this function because it seems quite large! What can I do? Thanks!

Re: Sinusoid Question

Here is a plot of the curve over 1 period:

[attachment=0:2h3vks6l]sinecurve.jpg[/attachment:2h3vks6l]

Over this period, its y-intercepts are from left to right:

$$$-\frac{5\pi}{6}-6\pi,0$$=$$-\frac{41\pi}{6},0$$$

$$$-\frac{5\pi}{6},0$$$

$$$-\frac{5\pi}{6}+6\pi,0$$=$$\frac{31\pi}{6},0$$$

Its crest or maximum is at:

$$$-\frac{5\pi}{6}-3\pi,3$$=$$-\frac{23\pi}{6},3$$$

Its trough or minimum is at:

$$$-\frac{5\pi}{6}+3\pi,-3$$=$$\frac{13\pi}{6},-3$$$
