Transforming Circles

I think I am fine on the other types of graphs, but I am totally lost on the method to transform circles.
I have 2 questions on transforming
x+y=16.

questions
a) horizontal compression by a factor of 1/2

b)a vertical expansion by a factor of 3, then reflected in the y-axis.

Thank you!
