For instance instead of typing: x = (-b ± ?(b² - 4ac))/(2a) If you enclose x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a} in the latex tags you get: $x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$
