My Math Forum exponential help: e^((lnx)/2)

 January 23rd, 2012, 06:00 PM #1 Newbie   Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 2 Thanks: 0 exponential help: e^((lnx)/2) I know that e^(lnx) equals x so i was just wondering what e^((lnx)/2) equals. The specific question is e^((ln16)/2)- e^((ln4)/2)

I must say, the LaTeX code on this site is a bit lacking. It's a bit more aesthetically pleasing than math.stackexchange's, however...
