I got this small magnet which is: 8,57mm in the height 5,09mm in the width I have taken this photo with a shutter time of 1/4000 where 1 is 1second. I wonder if someone could calculate the falling speed for me based on one of those photos (if that is possible): If you wonder why the magnet is shorter then the one on the first picture, a camera reads the 'image' as an array, a list of pixels from bottom to top. So when it falls it reads a line, then when it is at the next line the object is already further.

Do you know how long it takes the camera to "read" the image of the magnet?
