My brother has an assignment like it gave a shape like a rhombus <>, and it asked to tell two names and then he did trapezoid and rhombus... what's wrong with this? His teacher said it's quadrilateral and rhombus.... But I think the answer can be either his or her answer, right? Because trapezoid is a quadrilateral with only one pair of parallel sides... and the rhombus already has one pair of parallel sides also.

A trapezoid has exactly one pair of parallel sides. A rhombus has two.

Thank you so much, Mr. The Chaz. Because I searched on Wikipedia.com... they tell it's kind of illdefined... some books tell at least one pair of parallel sides, some books tell exactly one pair of parallel sides. It depends on the book that the student learns... but I know it's nonsense. Thank you.

It would also be a parallelogram and a kite.
