Rhombus Name

My brother has an assignment like

it gave a shape like a rhombus <>, and it asked to tell two names

and then he did trapezoid and rhombus... what's wrong with this?

His teacher said it's quadrilateral and rhombus....

But I think the answer can be either his or her answer, right?

Because trapezoid is a quadrilateral with only one pair of parallel sides... and the rhombus already has one pair of parallel sides also.

Re: Rhombus Name

A trapezoid has exactly one pair of parallel sides.
A rhombus has two.

Thank you so much, Mr. The Chaz.

Because I searched on Wikipedia.com... they tell it's kind of ill-defined... some books tell at least one pair of parallel sides, some books tell exactly one pair of parallel sides. It depends on the book that the student learns... but I know it's nonsense.

Thank you.
