Newbie Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 9 Thanks: 0  Is my answer key wrong?
The Problem: In 2003, the US national debt was about $7 trillion. If payments were made at the rate of $1,000 per second, how many years would it take to pay off the debt, assuming that no interest were charged? (Note: 1 year = 3.156*10^7 seconds) I got 221.8 years, but the answer key says 100 years... Don't see how I'm wrong though.
