The question states a box has a surface area of 198 cm squared Length is 3 times the width, height is 2 times the width, wants me to find what the width is. For some reason this one has really stumped me, I checked the back of the book and the answer is 3, but I can't figure out how to get that number. My textbook is horrible, it has so many problems where it's never taught you how to figure them out.

2(3w·w + 3w·2w + 2w·w) = 2(3w² + 6w² + 2w²) = 2(11w²) = 22w² = 198 w² = 198/22 = 99/11 = 9 ? w = ?9 = 3

Yeah I got to the whole 198/22 = 9 before I posted this, I suppose it should have been obvious to just show the root of 9, oh well, I'm sleepy lol.
