Is this statement TRUE or FALSE. [color=#FF0000]Some irrational numbers are real. [/color] Explain your answer in set theory please.

Global Moderator Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 21,015 Thanks: 2250  This article gives an example of an irrational real number. The fact that ?2 ? R and ?2 ? Q suffices to show that some irrational numbers are real. It's also true that all irrational numbers are real (by virtue of how irrational numbers are defined).
