Could someone please help me with this question?... I'm so confused I don't know where to start.... A major league baseball player throws a curve ball that has a maximum height lateral deflection of 46 cm over the pitching distance of 18.3 m What is the transformational form of the quadratic function that best describes the path of curve ball?

What is the maximum height, what does "transformational form" mean, and is the lateral deflection greatest at the maximum height?
