need help with laws of indices

my book says to remove the brackets from (x3 y7)4

(x to the power of 3, y to the power of 7, and to the power of four outside the brackets, all numerals small)

Can anyone help?

Multiply exponents. To illustrate, (x) = ((x)(x)(x)) = ((x)(x)(x))((x)(x)(x)) = x^6.
