Expected number of attempts, when random pick 1 out of 5

I have trouble finding a method to estimate the most likli number of attemppts i following problem set-up!

Five boxes, 4 empty and one with a candy bar!

How many attempts would likli be expected to perform to pick the one with the candy bar.

How would you calculate this?

please elaborate and explain your approach. References or links are very welcome.
thanks in advance!
