CONFIDENCE LEVEL and BOUNDARIES - please help

Blue Green Grey Brown
UV 0 23 27 19 33
UV 1 35 16 20 20
UV 2 30 26 15 23
UV 3 54 23 21 15

data set contains the results of scientific tests performed on a sample of 400 inhabitants of Transylvania, who were selected at random from the population of that region. Eye colour was classified as follows: blue; green; grey; brown. Reaction to controlled exposure of ultraviolet light at a given fixed intensity was classified as follows:
uv0 = mild reaction;
uv1 = moderate reaction;
uv2 = severe reaction;
uv3 = extremely severe reaction.

Construct a 95% confidence interval [L95,U95] for the percentage of all with green eyes. Here, L95 denotes the lower boundary of the confidence interval, and U95 denotes the upper boundary.
Construct also a 99% confidence interval [L99,U99] for the percentage of all with green eyes. Enter each of the four boundaries, each number being given correct to two decimal places:

(a). L95:
(a). U95:
(a). L99:
(a). U99:

Re: CONFIDENCE LEVEL and BOUNDARIES - please help

I quite personally would love it if you would post the additional questions to the problem on your other thread:
viewtopic.php?f=24&t=28848

Since the data is the same, I'd hate to see two different people work through this just to discover there's another thread on it.

I'd also love to see if you've done any work on either part of it.
