Who win : the first to play or the second ? Thank you for any comment.

It's my game. I have 3 or 4 variants more complex.
This one is the easiest one.
You need 4 red pawns and 4 blue pawns. You can use checkers and paint them.
You can draw 2 boards on paper and start to play with someone of your friends.
If you are programmer it is not too hard to implement.

At first sight I think it will be a draw with optimal strategy. BTW I think that in order to have a succesfull game you should change it such that it can be played on 1 board.

Thank you for testing the game.
If you want to play it using one board at time you will have to count the moves (lot of people will hate that). The winner will be the one who trap the opponent pawn in less moves.
I have created 4 variants but I have to add more rules. Not all the 4 variants are interesting. Sometimes you have to choose the best one.
For now I think that playing in 2 boards is :
- original ( I had never seen a game played on 2 boards at the same time)
- challenging because you have to think simultaneously as hunter and as hunted
- easy : you do not need to count the moves. If you are the first one to trap your opponent you win.
- very simple : on your your turn you have to make a move on each of the 2 boards
- quickly played

I'm still waiting for the feedback.
Some people were very excited by the game.
That is the basic version.
There are variants. I will publish their rules in the near future.

This means that either there is something wrong with my strategy or with the game. Are you allways able to block the opponent whatever strategy your opponent is using?

Yes.
There is a strategic way to block the red pawn :
You have to align your three blue pawns on the diagonal A1,C3 then it will be easy to trap him.
I will send a picture as soon as I can. Not today. 2 or 3 days.
