Unbiased Estimator - Order Statistic

Let Y1,...,Yn be iid RVs, each having uniform distribution on (q,q+1) where q is the unknown parameter to estimate. How can I show that Y(1)-1/(n+1), where Y(1) is 1st order statistic, is an unbiased estimator of q, and how can I compute its variance?
