Hey everyone, You will have to forgive me, my stats is a bit rusty =) I have 2 pieces of information about a study the mean (15.4) and standard deviation (5.0). Am I correct to imply that anything within +/ 5 of the mean will represent ~64% of the population, +/ 10 of the mean would be nearly 99%? Thanks! Jared

For a normal distribution, the 2? domain is about 95%, not 99%.
