Suppose that X and Y are discrete random variables with joint distribution. $p(x,y) = \begin{cases} xy/27, & \mbox{if }n\mbox{ is even} \\ 0, & otherwise \end{cases}$ Are X and Y independent ?Explain

Sorry typing mistake it is for x=1,2 and y= 2,3,4 instead of if
