Smile Math lane question? Help?

My 8th grade math teacher has given me two options to go into for my freshman year:

Geometry Honors
or Geometry Advanced

(btw I took the placement test and I got an 98.72% which means I'm qualified for Geo H)

She said that the honors class is very hard and most students have extra help (e.i tutors/enrichment classes). While the advanced class is still challenging but a lot simpler. So basically my mom does not want to get me a tutor cause she believes in "self teaching" as in I have to go online or print worksheets to do myself. I'm worried that if I go into to Geo H I'll get an A- or a B and it'll look bad on my overall GPA while if I go into to advanced I'll get an A or an A+ but its the lower lane and its not special.

So, my two questions are:

1. If you were me which class would you take?

2. Do colleges care more about your overall grade (e.i All A+ but not a lot of Honors or AP classes) or how many AP/Honors classes you take (i.e Lots of AP/Honors but have B's)

Thanks!

Math Focus: Mainly analysis and algebra
I'd take the Honors class every time. Especially nowadays with online tutoring available so easily. You can get help on forums like this or Stack Exchange, or find a formal online tutoring site such as InstaEdu where you can get live 1-1 lessons or assistance.

Don't start holding yourself back out of fear of failure. You haven't failed anything yet, and with a little application there's no reason why you should start now. Pushing yourself on at this age is a good habit to get into. That will serve you far better throughout life than a single course at school.

I should declare an interest in that I'm a paid tutor on InstaEdu.
Thanks from topsquark
