Study of dynamic systems and chaos theory

I'm interested in finding a way to study chaos theory and dynamical systems; -continuous, nonlinear, discreet dynamical systems.
I have broad and somewhat deep knowledge in algebra, number theory, and cryptology at graduate level.
My knowledge in analysis is more brief with white spots on the map - nothing beyond undergraduate.
I found the MIT courses online in mathematics (
- but need advice on which ones would be recommended - and in what order!! to understand e.g. 18.385J

Literature suggestions is also very welcome thanx in advance!
