I want to learn pre-algebra ?where to start?

My basic math is very weak; I want to improve it.

How do I improve my pre algebra? There are a lot of terms that are confusing me, especially when it comes to Arithmetic fractions and Algebraic fractions.

Please help me with some book or website suggestions.

Khan Academy has the reputation of being useful.

Most libraries that are open to the public have a basic math/science section. Likely you could pick up a book or too for reference there.

I'm betting that "most libraries" won't include war torn Afghanistan if porchgirl really is from that unfortunate country.

Hard to say... I don't think the entire country is in a state of war?

Chances are if porchgirl has access to the internet and is studying math, there is a library nearby..

That said, i am by no means up to date with worldly affairs, so i wouldn't know.
