I've been searching a lot on google and I can find what mean : we have a partial ordered tower : G > H > ... > K what does it implie on this morphism? or on this group? Thank you

My guess is that when you have some (subfield) diagram like G  H  ...  K then that configuration where there is just one single column is referred to, without any precise definition, as a tower (says my textbook...)
